Palm Jumeriah is a manmade built island by a company owned by the Dubai government. It is one of the three palm islands, Palm Jumeriah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira. Palm Jumeirah is the smallest of the three islands, which is still under some development. It is located on the Jumeriah coast of the emirate of Dubai, which is in United Arab Emirate. The island is in a shape of a palm tree and it is self-declared as the eighth wonder of the world. Palm Jumeriah along with the two other islands were made out of all natural sources, rock and sand. Special projects had to be done, so that if an earthquake were to hit Dubai, the shaking wouldn't make the islands disappear under the water. If you ever have the chance to visit Dubai don't hesitate as it is known as "The Impossible City" with amazing things as the rotating building, indoor ski resort and of course the palm islands.
